STATELINE (WIFR) -- Today, the Fun Safe Community Partnership started getting ready for their second annual 700 Celebration. The goal is to bring together Stateliners and local support agencies to try and commit to rebuilding Rockford. Local groups will share their missions and messages with participants. In return, the participants will get a food box from the food bank and toys for the first 700 kids. Sponsors say they also hope to help in a different way.

"We're also going to bring all our resources and information here, so that in case somebody needs an apartment or a job, or something from Rock Valley College, any information they need will be right here at his fingertips," said Coordinator Brandon Russell.

The event will be held on Saturday December 15th at Washington Academy from 4 to 6 pm.
