Funeral arrangements have been made for fallen soldier Brandon Rowe of Roscoe. The 20-year-old member of the 101st airborne division was shot and killed in an ambush attack by Iraqi fighters nearly two weeks ago.
Brandon will be buried in a military service beginning at his old high school. A six-hour visitation, from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m., will be held at the Performing Arts Center at Hononegah High School. A memorial service will follow.
There will be a military burial ceremony at Willwood Burial Park. The family has established the Brandon Rowe Memorial Fund through Amcore Bank.
All money that is donated to the fund will be used to support the troops and families of the 101st airborne stationed in Fort Campbell Kentucky.
