Seven residents graduated from the Winnebago County Drug Court Thursday in an emotional ceremony that signified how far they had come as individuals. The participants have all been clean and sober for six months now. They say their lives would be much worse without the program.
"I was jobless, homeless, and by the grace of these people and AA and other things, I'm able to be clean and sober today," says Todd Loeffelholz, a graduate of the program.
In order to qualify for the program, a candidate must be at least 17 years old, enter the program on their own free will, and accept that they have a problem.
