A heads up for drivers, road construction projects for two heavily traveled areas begins tomorrow. Resurfacing of Alpine Road from Riverside to Spring Creek road officially starts Tuesday, September 2. Traffic will be down to two lanes one in each direction. Drivers are urged to slow down and be cautious of flaggers. The mile and half stretch construction project expected to be done by mid October.
Meantime, Mulford Road will be down to one lane of traffic from Guilford to Apawamis Way for the installation for right turn lane on Mulford. Drivers are urged to use caution while driving in this area, and find an alternate route if possible. The lane should be back open in about two weeks.
