Thousands of Chicago Public School students will skip their first day of school thanks in part to some Chicago Ministers. About 85 Chicago pastors are supporting tomorrow's boycott for two thousand Chicago Public School students. This, so students can try to enroll in a new school district. Local supporters there say Chicago schools need to see some change. " We've been asking kids to go to school for 35 straight years. And they go to school, but they're missing an education because the schools that they go to don't have the resources to adequately educate them," said Illinois Senator James Meeks. Chicago Public School CEO Arne Duncan agrees that state funding is lacking for Chicago Schools, but he says adults should deal with that issue in the legislature and in the courts not kids in the classroom
