He's considered "Father of the Modern Crime Thriller and coming this fall, author Scott Turow will be making a special appearance in Rockford. He'll be talking about his career at the 20th annual Critics Choice Dinner. It's at the Radisson Hotel and Conference Center on October 23rd. Tickets cost one-hundred dollars. Turow has written seven best selling novels, some have even been turned into blockbuster movies starring Harrison Ford.
