Rockford Mayor Expected to Announce Re-Election Plans

Rockford Mayor Larry Morrissey is planning for his overseas trip to China and Sweden, but before he goes, he's expected to announce whether he'll run for re-election.

"The job is a tough job I think for anyone who's been watching over the last few years, they know we've engaged in a lot of tough issues, but I love it because we have an opportunity to take on a lot of tough issues," he said

Morrissey has said he'd make that announcement around Labor Day. He leaves on September 13th for his two week trip. While overseas, he hopes to sell Rockford and attract more businesses to our area. Recently, Morrissey has tackled education. He wants legislation passed that would allow him to appoint school board members instead of them being elected. And bring charter schools to Rockford.

Continuation: So, now the kids can do what they want and we blame the school board. Right? With a marketing twist all of the way, leaders can act non responsible to get everyone to act non responsible and the silent majority thinks it is someones problem and not their own, yet... Now cnnect all of the units and government branches and what we have is a fine mess. Blame the consumer, should not have been there. Well Rockford may get its wish. Trick, trap and swindle, civilization canceled and the economies go int to the ground by SWINDLE. DURABLE GOODS WILL SAVE THE OTHER COUNTRIES AND NOT US... How will THhe community come together to solve the mess? Not possible, a SHILL AT EVERY TURN... WE CAN ALWAYS "VOTE WITH OUR FEET !" END OF MESSAGES GOD HELP US...

Continuation: So, the Municiple can act independantly, and the Lottery Sales Agent can act independantly, and anything is legal as long as no one gets caught? Is this correct?
