Autopsies were performed on the bodies of Rexhep Menxhiqi and Shukrije Menxhiqi at 0900 today at the VA Hospital morgue in Madison. Dr Corliss and Dr Huntington performed the autopsies, respectively.

Rexhep died of a single self-inflicted penetrating gunshot wound to the chest. The bullet was recovered at autopsy. The manner of death is determined to be suicide.

Shurkrije died from four perforating gunshot wounds to the chest. A primary lethal wound was not identified. The manner of death is determined to be homicide.

Toxicology results are pending.
