Insight Cable started work on upgrading their service on Friday. For some people that was the last time they could log onto the Internet.
Service for both individuals and businesses were affected, about 2,300 connections. Insight had planned several upgrades and thought the improvements would be "transparent," according to an Insight spokeswoman.
While many of the problems have been fixed, one of the upgrades planned Monday night didn't happen.
