Fatal Car Crash Identity Released
We now know the identity of a Rockford man killed in a late night car accident in Cherry Valley.

We now know the identity of a Rockford man killed in a late night car accident in Cherry Valley.
The Winnebago County Coroner says 73 year old Thomas Bartels was pronounced dead at OSF St. Anthony's this morning after crashing his car into a tree on State Street last night.
Autopsy results confirm Bartels was intoxicated at the time of the accident and his cause of death was trauma to the chest and abdomen.
