A suburban Atlanta woman dies after a 911 operator sends the ambulance to the wrong address. Thirty nine year old Darlene Dukes called police for help on Saturday due to breathing difficulties. However, the 911 operator heard the address wrong sending emergency crews to Wells Street in Atlanta when Dukes was actually on Wales Street in Johns Creek, a suburb north of Atlanta. The mistake caused a 25 minute delay, and Dukes died from a pulmonary embolism. The 911 operator has since been fired.
