Several Thousand customers remain in the dark after the strong storms knocked out power. 2000 people are without power in Caledonia and Poplar Grove. 400 residents in Machesney Park from Kingsley drive to the north and east, Wood avenue to the south and 251 to the west are in the dark. A ComEd spokesperson says the lights should be back on sometime this evening.
