Another round of job cuts for Chrysler.

The company just announced its laying off 1,000 more workers. The automaker says it must cut 1,000 salaried jobs worldwide by September 30Th.

A company spokesman says they hope most of the cuts will be accomplished through early retirement and voluntary separation programs. If not, they'll start firing people.

No word yet on how this will effect the Belvidere Chrysler plant.
