ROCKFORD (WIFR) -- For those of us who want to get rid of some of the things in our home, there's a new recycling facility we can take our old electronics, papers, and plastics.
Keep Northern Illinois Beautiful’s new recycling center on Hydraulic Road, just south of Harrison and Alpine, opened for the first time Saturday morning. The center takes everything from glass, plastic, paper, and cardboard, to metals, electronics, and even clothes.
The recycling center is open every Saturday from nine to noon. Keep Northern Illinois Beautiful also has a recycling center on north Second Street in Roscoe.
