State consumer protection specialists said today gas prices and health and medical services are among the top ten complaints for the first time.
The Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection received 3,045 complaints about no-call telemarketing. The state says it's taken "enforcement action" 46 times against telemarketing companies since the list was set up in 2003.
Complaints about the practices of telecommunication companies are second.
Landlord tenant matters are third with many complaining about not getting their security deposit returned.
Investment complaints moved up from sixth to fourth, while home improvement complaints are fifth. Complaints about gas and fuel prices came in sixth.
