A local manufacturing company is expanding and adding hundreds of new jobs. Woodward announced today a 50 million dollar expansion of its Loves Park facility. It will be done in three phases.. and will include a new test facility for aircraft engine fuel and control systems. They'll also be renovating their current factory.. bringing it up to modern standards with new equipment. Local leaders say this helps further propel the stateline as a leader in aeronautics... and is great news.. especially with the slumping airline industry and the recent layoffs.
