More than 200 people went to a public forum on the proposed ethanol plant on Meridian Road Thursday night.
Some are concerned about property values and their health, while others think an ethanol plant will provide the economic boost our area needs.
Odor is tops on the list of concerns. A teacher told the audience that the smell at the Adkins ethanol plant in Lena is unbearable. Developers say new technology will prevent these odors from escaping the plant on Meridian.
But their promises don't have everyone convinced. Click on the video link to hear what neighbors of the site have to say.
