UPDATE: Shooting at a Rockford Gas Station Leaves One Dead, Multiple Injured

ROCKFORD (WIFR) – The suspects in Sunday morning’s deadly shoot-out are still on the run tonight.

34-year-old Joseph Henson was the man killed on Sunday. Henson and two others were shot at a gas station on 11th Street after hours.
Detectives tell us the trio was meeting up with another group when an argument broke out. The two other victims have been released from the hospital. Anyone with information on the crime is asked to call Crime Stoppers.

ROCKFORD (WIFR) – A Rockford man is dead and two others injured after an argument turns deadly outside a south-east gas station. Police are still searching for suspects.

Police tell us 34 year-old Joseph Henson was shot and killed after an argument with a group of people outside the Marathon Gas Station on 11th Street very early this morning. Detectives tell us the business was closed for the night and that the group was there for other reasons.

Two other people were shot besides Henson and were later released from the hospital.

We had a chance to speak with Henson's family and, as one would expect, they were very upset. As they grieve the loss of their loved one tonight, they told us they are calling on the police to find those responsible for Henson's death.
