A family relives the nightmare of their 13-year-old boy, dying after a night of binge drinking.
21-year-old Todd Trosper is charged with giving alcohol to his 13-year old cousin, Blake Barrone. Police reports say trosper and others were drinking rum with the teen, when Barrone passed out and never woke up. Toxicology reports say
Barrone's blood alcohol content was point-three-one, a fatal amount for the teen. There were few dry eyes as prosecutors played the dramatic 911 tape, where paramedics frantically tried to revive Barrone. Testimony continues Thursday. If convicted, Trosper faces up to ten years in prison.
