Many Winnebago County residents have been taking advantage of the emergency shelter set up to help flood victims. Right now 13 people remain at the shelter at Harlem High School. That number was as high as 30 just a few days ago. The Red Cross says they are in need of fresh fruit as well as Gatorade and juice. If you would like to help you can drop these items off at Harlem High School in Machesney Park.
