Bikers take note, Harley-Davidson is voluntarily recalling some of its motorcycles. The 2006-model Dyna Series motorcycles have a transmission defect.
The recall applies to about 13,000 motorcycles built between June 9 and Oct. 19. Harley reports the defect may allow the motorcycles to go into a false neutral position even though the neutral indicator light is on.
Harley-Davidson will provide owners with free pickup and delivery and will make recall kits available at dealerships starting Dec.12.
