2 Arrested in Break-in At Rockford School

ROCKFORD (WIFR) - Two people are in custody after allegedly breaking into a Rockford school.

At 2:40 a.m., Rockford police responded to an alarm at Kennedy Middle School, 520 N. Pierpont Ave. Police say they found two people walking in a hallway, wearing bandanas over their faces.

After surrounding the building, police arrested 19-year-old Rebecca L. Valdez and 20-year-old Alex M. Renteria. They are being charged with burglary and criminal damage to property.
