In just a moment someone's life can be taken away by an irresponsible decision. More than 4,000 families' holidays are ruined when a loved one is killed in a drunk driving accident.

Kim Summers just started up a chapter of Mothers Against Drunk Driving in Winnebago County. Her brother, Neil Dillon was killed in 1997 by someone driving under the influence.

"People drive drunk because they think of themselves as indestructible," says Summers.

She says what happened to her brother is a reminder that there are grave consequences to getting behind the wheel after a few drinks.
