Saturday saw another day of strong to see thunderstorms across portions of the Midwest. Storms produced everything from tornadoes, large hail, and gusty winds across northern Illinois, southern Wisconsin, Iowa, eastern Nebraska, and far northern Kansas. A tornado caused damage near Cambria, Wisconsin. Four injuries occurred as a result. A tornado tracked through the southern Chicago, Illinois metropolitan area. The tornado destroyed several houses and injured several people. Teacup sized hail fell near Waukesha, Wisconsin. Strong winds caused damage to a campground near Rio, Wisconsin, injuring one person. The rains from these storms added to already impressive rain totals from the last few days across portions of the region. Flooding caused road closures across portions of Illinois and Indiana.
