A 24 year old from Stillman Valley has been charged with the murder of his girlfriend.

Jeremy Belter now faces drug induced homicide charges. On May 1St, Rockford Police found 24 year old Kala Dyal dead in a room at the Sleep Inn on Clark Drive. An autopsy determined she died from a heroin overdose.

After further investigation her death was ruled a homicide. Belter's currently being held in the Winnebago County Jail on 200 thousand dollars bond.
