Family Struggles With Funeral Costs
It's something we don't want to have to think about at any age...purchasing life insurance ...Right now one local family is struggling without it.

Just one month after his sons death, Pete Castle tries to balance both life without his loved one and his checkbook...

In April his 14 year old son , Travis Castle was killed after allegedly breaking into this Stillman Valley home with three other teens.The boys entered the home Intending to steal guns, Castle had one turned on himself by a house sitter and was shot twice...

"He was just with the wrong people, that's all there is to it, he was just with the wrong people"says Pete Castle, Travis dad

Pete is spending more than 15 thousand dollars in burial fees and funeral costs for their son but, it was the lack of preparation prior to Travis' death that has the family in a financial set-back.

"When you get older you think about getting life insurance for yourself or your family but not at age 14" says Pete Castle

Castle held a benefit at a local bar Sunday, hoping to gain some of the cash back. he says parents of teens should purchase *life insurance for reassurance...

" I know you think your kids going to live forever but i rec getting on these kids, you never know these days"
