RPD Alert: At about 1833 hrs, a 19 year old man was walking in the area of Knight and Virginia when he noticed two men were following him. They approached him and asked him a question, and then one of the men stabbed him in the chest area with a knife. They took money from the victim and then fled on foot. Injuries are not life threatening. Both suspects are black males, about 18, wearing dark colored hoodies.
ROCKFORD (WIFR) -- Police are looking for two guys who robbed a 19-year-old and stabbed him in the chest. It happened at about 6:30 p.m. Thursday night near Knight and Virginia Avenue. The victim told police he saw the suspects following him as he walked down the street. He says they approached, asked a question, then stabbed him and ran away with his money. The victim is expected to be ok.
