Hundreds of GM workers in Janesville were notified today, that they're going to loose their jobs. Employees received a letter today that states, come July 14Th the plant has to cut their second shift. A cut that will effect about 750-people from both production and maintenance.
The cuts come as a result of slowing sales for vehicles made at the plant, like the Chevy Suburban and Tahoe. GM will also be cutting shifts at three other plants.
