Get ready for a ride and a rush of nostalgia from an Allen Herschel sky fighter, to a red, white and blud kiddie train, Gary Williams has some treasured pieces that make grown adults yearn for our childhood days.
Gary has recently retired, his grandchildren no longer live in the area and he says it's time to move on so he's putting more than 500 items up for auction.
A 1964 24 horse carousel or maybe a 1960 12-passenger Ferris wheel is more your style, there's a pair of foster battle tanks or maybe you just want to relax beside a 1959 juke box.
With everything before his eyes, could Gary possibly have a favorite? Of course and it's the elephant coin-operated ride.
So not only is corn growing on the Williams' farm, but so are memories, memories that will soon be passed on to some lucky bidders.
Besides fun collectibles, Gary will also be auctioning off construction equipment, tools, clocks, watches and dolls. The auction begins Sunday at 10 a.m. at the Williams farm located at 3706 Rotary Road in Rockford.
