Each year fire departments warn us about a certain scenario that could happen during the 4th of July weekend.
At around 9:30 a.m. Sunday a neighbor made every attempt to wake up the seven people asleep inside a home on 7th avenue. A fire started on the roof of the porch. Once the fire was put out, fire investigators discovered a firework device in the rain gutter that caused the blaze. Neighbors say that they saw people in the neighborhood lighting off fireworks at around 4:30 a.m. Luckily no one was injured since the fire department says this fire could have spread quickly.
