Some parents are concerned that food poisoning caused several students at a Rockford school to get sick.
At least a dozen kids at Eisenhower Middle School are sick Thursday, but after a thorough investigation, Food Services director Chris Saletta says this appears to be a bad case of the stomach flu.
Saletta says a number of people ate the same food Wednesday but did not get sick. The temperatures of the food, as well as the time it came out of the freezer, have all been checked.
Saletta says all food preparations were done properly.
