On Friday afternoon, a team of police officers from Ogle County, Oregon, Mt. Morris, Byron, and Polo served a search warrant at 512 E. Mason Street in Polo. The residence is located only 130 feet from the Applington Middle School.
The police seized a total of 3/4 of a pound of cannabis, 21 cannabis smoking pipes, 3 weigh scales, and other assorted drug paraphernalia. Three individuals were arrested during the bust. Benjamin L. Koster, age 28, of Polo was arrested for Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Unlawful Possession of Cannabis 2.5 to 10 grams. Paul Ferlauto, age 34, of Polo was arrested for Unlawful Possesion of Cannabis With the Intent to Deliver Within 1000 feet of a School 30 to 500 grams and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Robert D. Ennenga, age 39, of Polo was arrested for Unlawful Possession of Cannabis With the Intent to Deliver Within 1000 Feet of a School 30 to 500 grams and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
