He was planning on living a life of luxury, now he's facing years behind bars. Thirty-two-year-old Eric Wagner has been arrested on federal drug dealing and gun trafficking charges. Wagner is charged with eight counts of selling a firearm to a felon and eight counts of illegally distributing marijuana.
This is the same Eric Wagner who won the state's largest Lotto jackpot last month. On April 25, Wagner purchased the Lotto ticket at Horizon Supermarket winning $37.5 million.
Now, Wagner is facing up to 10 years in prison without parole on each of the eight firearms charges and up to five years in prison without parole on each of the eight drug distribution charges. If convicted, Wagner will be sentenced by a federal judge.
