A major drug bust in Rockford and Winnebago County puts 10 people in jail.
For six months, Rockford Police, the Winnebago County Metro Narcotics Unit, and the DEA conducted an undercover operation.
Nearly 100 city and county officers and federal agents made the arrests. The investigation yielded large amounts of cocaine and marijuana along with several weapons.
Police say more arrests are expected. Twenty-six-year-old Alfredo Rodriguez of Rockford had his bond set at a quarter million dollars. That was the highest bond among the 10 men arrested
