Residential yard waste is grass, leaves, prunings, twigs and branches of less than four inches in diameter.
Yard waste is to be placed in 30-gallon biodegradable paper bags or 40-gallon garbage bags with handles and with an "X" displayed on it to show the can holds yard waste.
Twigs and branches not in cans should be tied in bundles of less than two feet, bound with string and are to be no longer than three feet in length.
Yard waste is collected on the same scheduled day and collection place as residential garbage. A separate truck from garbage picks up compost materials.
