Six people are sent to the hospital after a two-car accident early Monday morning.
Rockford police say they were investigating a report of shots fired when the suspect’s car took off around 1 a.m.
The suspect then blew a stop sign at the intersection of Miriam and Mulberry and crashed into another car. Five people in the other car were all sent to Rockford Memorial Hospital and were treated and released.
One person in the suspect’s car was treated and released at Swedish American Hospital. Police are still investigating the shots fired.
No charges have been filed.
