Third grade students at Rockford public schools receive a special gift to aid in their studies.

Each student got a new dictionary thanks to the Sara Ingrassia Dictionary Fund. The students also got another treat when they opened their book.

First Lady Laura Bush tucked a letter into the pages, telling the students that the dictionary is a valuable tool that will help them do well in school and in life. This is the sixth year the students have been able to receive the free dictionaries.
