Rock River Ford is still picking up the pieces after a man stole a truck off the lot and crashed into several new and used cars on the premises.

No one was hurt during the incident. Police say 23-year-old Rico Gonzalez stole a white truck off the lot around three thirty this morning. Before speeding away, Rock River Ford says Gonzalez managed to cause at least $100,000 in damage, smashing into several vehicles on the lot.

Police say he fled the scene and led them on a high speed chase before crashing in downtown Rockford.

Gonzalez has been charged with several offenses including driving under the influence and possession of a stolen vehicle.
