For most children, Halloween is all about candy - but what about diabetic children who can't have all that sugar?
This Halloween a group of medical students from the University of Illinois in Rockford had plenty of treats for children with diabetes.
And the parents and children who came to this Halloween party are excited. They can finally celebrate Halloween with out any worries.
Marjorie Curtis says Halloween hasn't always been a treat.
Her son Devin has Type 1 diabetes, which means Marjorie has to be careful about his sugar intake. But this year medical students from U of I decided to spin up a different kind of Halloween party.
With trick or treat mazes, musical chairs and mummy races - these little monsters got their fill of fun. And this mummy is certainly happy about that.
With all the success they've had tonight, U of I medical students say their going to try to do the same thing next year.
