David Vogt and his wife Deanna planned their marriage in about two days. The reason is David is soon being shipped out.
David is in the Naval Reserves and will be leaving for more training this weekend. This is the first time he is being called to action.
When he and his then fiancé found out that he would be overseas for about a year, the two decided to tie the knot. David noted that either way he knew his wife would be there for him when he gets back, but this made it official.
Deanna says that she is definitely sad to see him go, but she knows he is going for the right reasons; he has a job to do.
She also added that Friday night’s family dinner and wedding ceremony is only the first of two celebrations. The couple plans on having a bigger second wedding to celebrate David’s return.
