Four companies addressed the board Tuesday night in order to make presentations on what they have to offer the Rockford School District.
These presentations were requested by Superintendent Dr. Dennis Thompson before the board takes a final vote on outsourcing maintenance workers.
23 News has learned that the latest number of company's the district is looking at taking over the maintenance work has gone from three to four. Tuesday night each of the company's made their pitch to board members.
One of the companies interested is ABM Janitorial Service who is based out of San Francisco. The other three companies are based out the Chicago suburbs are SBM Maintenance Contractors, Elite Maintenance and Aramark.
The school board did not take a final vote on the outsourcing proposals.
