A new building is dedicated at Northern Illinois University Monday.
The doors of Barsema Hall have opened. The building will be the new home for NIU's business school. It was made possible by a $20 million gift from Dennis and Stacey Barsema. The building is equipped with carpeted classrooms, a high-tech messaging system and computer labs with the latest flat-screen monitors. Student's say Barsema's gift goes far beyond the building itself.
Dean David Graf says students at NIU can now receive a business education comparable to that of Illinois, Indiana and Notre Dame.
