Blagojevich is seeking the U.S. Food and Drug Administration's approval to buy the vaccine. The governor said Monday that his administration had found at least 62,000 vaccinations through a British wholesaler.
Blagojevich spokeswoman Abby Ottenhoff says the governor hasn't yet heard back from the FDA.
Ottenhoff says the extra 200,000 vaccinations come from the same wholesaler. In that 200,000, 80,000 have been guaranteed, and Ottenhoff says the British wholesaler promised it could get 120,000 vaccines more.
Federal officials have warned that the vaccines might not be safe or effective.
