BELVIDERE (WIFR) -- The 29th annual General Mills Parking Lot Sale for United Way is being held on Saturday, October 2nd, at General Mills, 915 E Pleasant St, Belvidere, IL 61008.
Last year the Belvidere General Mills facility contributed $496,027 to United Way, nearly 69 percent of the total United Way of Boone County 2009 budget.
“Over 200 volunteers are ready to greet new and returning customers from across the region,” said Vince Castle, plant manger. “We encourage everyone to come on out to buy General Mills food products at really great prices, all benefiting the United Way.”
Local-area families, schools, and churches can stock up on large quantities of General Mills products that are available at deeply discounted prices. Additionally, many of the products sold participate in Box Tops for Education. Simply clip Box Tops coupons from participating products and send them to your school to help raise dollars for needed supplies.

$15 for 12 boxes of cereal is cheap. The products are beings sold by the case. I would love to see you buy these products at a lesser amount.
