ROCKFORD -- (WIFR) Adventures with Jill; that's the new logo on Jill Goldman's motorhome.

"I was looking for something to do once I retired from the family business and I looked at what I enjoy doing most, which is driving my motorhome and helping people have a good time," explains Goldman.

And the adventure is almost anything you want it to be. The idea is to gather a group of people and take a day trip to wherever you want.

"Could be Galena, could be New Glarus up in Wisconsin, could be the marsh to do bird-watching, and tailgating. I mean people want to go up to Packers games," says Goldman.

Once you're on board, it's all about comfort. There are couches, a kitchen area, a stove to cook your meals on that long trip, and of course in case you get tired, there's a bedroom to take a nap.

"You're just in so much comfort and it's just like a home on wheels and to go somewhere in a day, this sure beats any bus I could think of," says Steve Johnson.

And it's not just comfortable, it's affordable.

"If you bring eight of your friends, you're splitting that cost. You don't have to park it, you don't have to pay the gas, you don't have any of those expenses, it's all one lump sum," says Johnson.

Kerry Schaible says the perks continue, "If you want to make a stop along the way, impromptu, she'll pull off and do that for you."

And Jill adds, "They don't have to worry, I'll clean up afterward."

Jill's motorhome can fit up to 14 people, but she says it seats ten comfortably. You do need a minimum of eight people to take a trip. Group rates vary and discounted rates are available.

The trip covers 250 miles in whichever direction you choose. After that, it's a dollar per mile.

Rick - This is a story of a woman making something of her time and having a profitable business. I'm happy to hear one of these stories once in a while. It's a nice changes from the normal shootings, robberies, murders etc this town faces everyday. I guess you'd rather hear more about those. Quit complaining.
