JANESVILLE (WIFR) -- Dozens of workers from southern Wisconsin gathered to talk about the need for jobs and job creation.
The International Association of Machinists helped organize the rally in an effort to get union members involved in the upcoming election. Organizers say jobs are among the most important issues facing the nation today.
"If America wants to solve the economic problems we face today during the Great Recession, then let's focus on jobs, and let's work our way out of it," says International Association of Machinists International President Tom Buffenbarger.
This rally is the first of several multi-state rallies the International Association of Machinists is involved with this election season.
