Belvidere Facing Budget Shortfall
Belvidere aldermen are dealing with a deficit of their own.

BELVIDERE (WIFR) -- The city is battling a $1.1 million budget hole. The council is considering closing city hall on Fridays to make up for the shortfall.
If approved, the furlough days would start in November and would last until an un-determined date. The only employees who would work a full week would be the city's mayor, finance director, and attorney.
