We could know this week whether a Rockton woman will receive the death penalty for killing her newborn.

WINNEBAGO COUNTY (WIFR) -- Prosecutors are likely to make a decision on Tuesday in the Baby Crystal case. 28-year-old Katie Stockton is accused of killing her infant daughter in 2004.
In may, prosecutors were given a 120 day extension to declare whether they would seek the death penalty. That extension ends on September 8. Stockton has pleaded not guilty to charges of first-degree murder.
She has not been charged in the deaths of two other infant skeletons found in the trunk of an impounded vehicle registered to her.

death penalty is needed for anyone who harms a child ,including drug dealers.

Death penalty for sure. I wish the death penalty would be reinstated throughout the country because I am tired as a taxpayer of paying to keep these pieces of crap alive to live while their victims had to pay the ultimate price for usually doing nothing wrong. This country wastes more tax money on criminals through the court system and jails. Now I am for tax money being spent to put all these idiots behind bars and build more jails but the death penalty not only opens up more room in jails but if it is done swiftly enough then the less us tax payers are paying to keep them alive. It's funny when people get the death penalty they are never put to death until 20 years after their sentencing, I mean really what is the sense in it after that amount of time. You get the death sentence and it has to happen within the first year of your sentencing I say.

DEATH PENALTY! I am all for the death penalty in certain situations. And this SICK "chick" deserves nothing but what she did to those poor innocent babies. But even the death penalty is too kind. Let her sit in prison and let the girls have at her first. Do Unto Others As You Would Have Them Do Unto You - NOT in the biblical sense of goodness and kindness, she should die the same way those babies died.
