House Selling Prices Up in Stateline Area
The average selling price for a home in the area has reached its highest monthly average this year.

ROCKFORD (WIFR) -- Good news for Stateline home sellers: the average selling price for a home in the area has reached its highest monthly average this year.
The August average price for a sold home in the Rockford area rose to just under 122-thousand dollars. The last time it was that high was November of 2009.
The number of homes sold is also rising. Around 265 properties were sold last month. That's six percent more than in July. The most promising part of these good numbers are that they come after the home buyer tax credit expired in June.
