Rock County Special Investigations Unit Finds Dozens of Marijuana Plants
Three people are arrested in the bust.

MILTON, WI (WIFR) -- On September 3, 2010, at 8:36 a.m., the Rock County Special Investigations Unit, including officers from the City of Clinton, along with Rock County Sheriff’s Office Detectives, served a search warrant at 1208 East Dellwood Drive, in Milton, Wisconsin. No one was home when law enforcement arrived at the residence. Deputies gained entry to the residence through an open door. During the search of the residence and property, approximately 50 marijuana plants were seized, along with drug paraphernalia and grow equipment.

Nicholas Bartel was arrested for manufacturing marijuana, maintaining a drug house, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, and a probation violation. His initial court appearance will be October 4, 2010, at 1:00 p.m.

Richard Winger was arrested for manufacturing marijuana, maintaining a drug house, possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia. His initial court appearance will be October 4, 2010, at 1:00 p.m.

Susan Ludwig was arrested for manufacturing marijuana, maintaining a drug house, possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Her initial court appearance will be October 4, 2010, at 1:00 p.m.

Pursuant to the directive of the Wisconsin Supreme Court, as found in Supreme Court Rule 20:3.6, Trial Publicity, you are advised that a charge is merely an accusation and that a defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
